If some of you liked the idea of using pallets but not the look of the raw wood underneath, here's an idea. Staple gun on a decorative skirt. Either ruffle or center pleat. I like how this blogger used burlap. It's probably weather durable and looks shabby chic. Of course you wouldn't want to use burlap for the part where you sit but perhaps you could splurge and get a nice Sunbrella print. That, or generously soak your fabric with protector.
