I can't remember how exactly I stumbled upon Made by Rae but when I did I fell in love.
I do remember it was right around the time my daughter (like many of your children now) was starting school, specifically Kindergarten. It was the first of many school-related shopping excursions. First lunchbox, first binder, first backpack.
When Lily choose her backpack her father took her to Walmart and let her pick out what she wanted. So of course, she picked a purple and teal Tinkerbell bag.
But if I had my way, I would have bought (or made) one of these bags in a heartbeat and taken a million pictures of her in it. So charming! So unique. So fit for a toddler.
I was so delighted when Rae agreed to do a guest giveaway with Grosgrain. Not to mention a bit envious of the future winners. Even though Rae is a brand new mommy she was generous enough to make this bag for Grosgrain. It's called 'The Jackpack'. Cute enough for either little boys or little girls.
AND she will ALSO be offering her backpack pattern which she sells on her blog. One to two separate winners.
And remember, once you make your sweet backpack, post your creation in the Made by Rae Toddler backpack flickr pool. IN FACT, I recommend just visiting it for some good eye candy.
As usual, if you would like a chance to win this backpack or pattern just link back to this post.
If you have any questions see the "questions and answers" link to the right. If you use blogger just use the "create a link" link at the bottom of this post. If you don't use blogger, that's fine too. Just create a link on your page as you normally would and I will see it using Technorati.
